[edit] Project Status through Project Portfolios

To enable you to get a view across all of your projects, Project.net provides the Projects tab. The Projects tab enables you to group projects by different criteria and view the project data you find relevant.

[edit] Channel Manager

The display of the channels in this page will depend on the selection of enabled and disabled status in the Channel Manager.

Choosing the Personalize page link in the Toolbar opens to the Channel Manager page to enable or disable the view on any of the following:

  • Portfolio Status
  • Portfolio Budget
  • Default Tree View

[edit] Portfolio Status

A bar chart representing the completion dates on all the projects in the portfolio constitute the channel on Portfolio status. This represents all the number of projects plotted against the different quarters with regard to the date of completion.

[edit] Portfolio Budget

This channel comprises of a pie chart that contains details on the Budgeted total cost, current estimated total cost and actual cost to date, in the uniform currency that is defined for all the projects in the portfolio.

[edit] Default Tree View

The default tree view contains the list of all the projects with the columns that are required for description of these projects. However, this view can be altered by creating a new view with the columns that are specifically required for display and selecting this view to be displayed in the portfolio page.
