[edit] Project View

The Project list in the Project Portfolio page can be organized to display projects based on various filters or options as defined by the user. Select the option on the filters in the channel above the Project list to create a save new views to list the Projects. The project list assumes the Project Tree (Default View) by default.

[edit] Filter options available for the View

On clicking in the arrow symbol next to "Filters" in the Project list page, the following options are available to filter the projects based on requirements.

Ignore other filters and use the selected Projects Choose this option to select the required projects from the list of all available projects
Select Projects by Name Select the required projects from the available list


Once all the above filters have been defined, click on the Apply button to apply the selected filters. This view is now saved by choosing the option on "Save Current Settings" from the list under Views.

[edit] Save Current Settings as a View

In the Save View window enter the View name in which the current view with the defined filters are to be saved.

The other options available in this section also include

Make this a Shared View

  1. Check box against the option "Make this a Shared View".
  2. The Owning Business list box is now open.
  3. Select the Business which needs to share this View.
  4. If the view needs to be visible to all users in the shared Business check box against the "All Users" option.
  5. If this option is not selected, then the shared view is visible only to the user who has selected this option.

On My Project Portfolio

Choosing this option will display the current view only the Project Portfolio page.

On My Personal Dashboard

Selecting this option will enable the view to be applied to the Project list in the Personal Dashboard page.

[edit] To Edit a View

  1. Select a View from the "Your Portfolio Views" drop down.
  2. Project list as per the selected view is now displayed.
  3. Choose the filters option to make any modifications to the view and click on apply to save the changes.
  4. The view can also be saved by selecting the option on "Save Current Settings" and then saved with the same or a different name.

[edit] To Delete a View

A View no more required can be deleted by selecting the option on "Delete Saved View". On providing the confirmation to proceed with the deletion, the view is deleted.

Any view in this list can be exported to obtain reports in the PDF, Excel and CSV file formats.

  • Blogit - Selecting this allows the user to create a personal blog entry that relates to the view.
