 Sharing Forms Overview
The Sharing Forms feature of the pnet application enables business or upper level project to collect form data from businesses and projects "below it" in the business/project hierarchy into a consolidated view of the data, to have the project data "roll up" to the business.
Where can the shared Forms be accessed?
1. Business shares forms to child projects
2. Business shares forms to sub businesses under them.
The concept of Universal Object sharing capability?
Pnet has a universal object sharing capability. The object sharing is supposed to allow you to link an object between projects or copy the object between projects. It is now used to share tasks between projects and is extended to all objects.
Sharing forms using the Object sharing infrastructure
P.net has a universal object sharing capability. The object sharing allows you to link an object between projects or copy the object between projects. It is now used to share tasks between projects. When you share a task you first select which workspaces are eligible to import (share-in) that task. You then go to one of those WS and import (share-in) the task that was shared with you. You can share-in a copy linked back to the original (what you change is reflected back in the original) or a copy of the original.
 How to use shared forms?
To make selected business form sharable go to setup , form management and choose to edit it. On form definition page check "Shared" check box and submit changes. Only activated form can be shared. After a form is shared all child spaces in hierarchy will get it , but before it can be used it must be activated in desired child space. This is because shared form design can be edited only in owner space.
