[edit] Project Resources

Project Resources refers to the participants who can be assigned tasks in the Project. Each of these participants are confined to specific roles that are defined based on their security and the permissions offered in the project. The Directory module in the Projects workspace is used to define these resources for the project.

[edit] Directory

The directory for the project workspace appears slightly different from the business workspace directory.

The directory module has two tabs:

1. Participants Tab

2. Roles Tab

[edit] Participants Tab

In the participants tab, you can view the rosters to quickly obtain the names and contact information of all project participants.

Lists of participants can be filtered or searched for by the first letter of the surname by selecting the first letter from the list.

For more information on Inviting a Participant, refer Adding a New Participant

It is also possible to view properties of each participant, edit and delete participant information by choosing the Edit member and Delete member option in the toolbox in this page.

[edit] Roles Tab

Please note that all invitees will automatically be added to the team members’ role. You may also select other roles to which they will also be added. Rights of any member will depend on the role that he has been assigned in the project.

[edit] Permissions to the Roles

Every member or role in the Project has a set of permitted actions that they are authorized to perform. These depend on the type of the Role they are grouped under. However, these actions can be modified or grouped by choosing the required options in the [SECURITY] page of the setup module.

For more information on adding Roles to Participant, refer Adding Roles
