Calendar Management plays a very important role to reach the target dates of the project. Deadlines and schedules within the project are well controlled by the use of Calendars by keeping track of the multitude of projects tasks, meetings and events. Project.net provides three types of calendars in the role of Calendar management. They may be as follows:
[edit] Personal Calendar
The Personal calendar provides information about your personal tasks, meetings and events. This can be viewed by choosing the Calendar menu option in the Personal workspace.
[edit] Baseline Calendar
The Baseline calendar is the initially planned calendar. It is a standard calendar by which you can compare project progress.
[edit] Project Calendar
The Project calendar is a baseline calendar which is used in a project. The Project calendar provides information about project related tasks, meetings and events. Its content gets shared with all project team members.
[edit] Calendar Views
Project.net provides the following calendar views:
- List view
- Graphical view
You can also view the calendar by day, week, month and year.
[edit] Export Calendar
You can export your calendar to Outlook.
[edit] Jump to date
You can also go to a particular date directly by selecting the year, month and day.
