If your calendaring program understands the iCalendar protocol it can automatically fetch your business’ or project’s events for you. Most calendar programs support the iCalendar protocol. All you need to know is the URL Project.net provides for the calendar application to access the business’ or project’s calendar.

To access this URL follow these instructions:

  1. Go to the BUSINESS or PROJECTS tab.
  2. From the Business or Project area, select a business or project from the list.
  3. Click [Calendar] in the submenu.
  4. Click [View URL] in the Toolbox. This will display a URL (web address) above the calendar display, it will look similar to http://login.project.net/ical/icalendar.jsp?key=08841CECA598005159C6EC6355DAC5DC.
  5. Copy this address into the appropriate location in your calendaring program. It will now connect to the Project.net server and retrieve the events, displaying them in its calendar. As new events are added within Project.net they will be reflected in your calendaring application as well.

Project.net provides the events for the current year through the iCalender URL.
