Enabling/Disabling Tokens

Based on the rights, permissions and the roles of the users, access to external features of the application can be enabled or disabled. This can be done by the Application Administrator for the required user.

[edit] Login as an Application Administrator

The option to modify the access rights of the user can be done only by the Application Administrator. When the Application Administrator logs into the system, there is an [Admin] link in the page lists the functions that are performed by the Application administrator.

[edit] Disabling/Enabling Externally Accessible Forms

The property of disabling and enabling of External Access Forms can be done by the Application Administrator.

1. The Appadmin first chooses the [Configuration] option under the Manage menu.

2. The configuration on which the change of enable and disable status of the EAF forms is to be made is now selected.

3. Under the menu options for the selected Configuration, select [Tokens].

Tokens are settings that control most of the visible text and images in Project.net. Each token is responsible for the configuration of one object.

4. Select the token that needs to be modified by filtering the required token. In this case, we look for the token on EAF forms and we choose the token prm.externalformaccess.isenabled.

5. As it is currently set to true, change the settings to False to disable the token and click on [Submit] to save the changes.

The EAF access is now disabled for all users of the selected configuration. The same process can be followed to enable the status again.
